My name is Xiaoqing Zhang, I am from China. I moved to Canada as an International student in 2014. Over the years, I have come to call Canada as my home. I feel a great connection to my friends and family in the country. Currently I am attending the University of Victoria pursuing my degree in Statistics. After I finish my degree, I will pursue my Masters in Statistics. My hopes are that I can become a teacher or work for the public government. Before I came to Canada, I wanted to pursue law in China, after coming here, I realized that the language barriers is too difficult for me to try to pursue law in Canada. My hopes after finishing EDCI335 are that I will know how to eliminate learning barriers and I will learn different ways for instructors to teach learners.
